Karolina Kluczewska

Karolina Kluczewska is a FWO postdoctoral researcher at the Ghent Institute for International and European Studies (GIES) and a research associate at the Institute of Middle East, Central Asia and Caucasus Studies, University of St Andrews. Her research focuses on welfare in Poland and Tajikistan. Karolina earned her PhD in International Relations from the University of St Andrews and has held various research and teaching roles in Germany, Tajikistan, Russia, and France. She has also worked in the development sector in Tajikistan with organizations like the International Organization for Migration and Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia. Karolina is a member of the Steering Committee of the Eureast Platform at Ghent University and the academic network ‘Local Ordering and Peace’ at the University of Hamburg.
